The Hotel section for the trip, or for a trip segment in a multi-city trip, should already have a check mark and be expanded for use. If not, see Starting Your Travel Search.
Follow these steps to search for a hotel:
- Click a Search Near option (the default is Airport, or Station if you are searching for a train):
- For the Airport choice, enter the airport in the field under the choices. If you already entered information for searching for flights, this field is already filled in for you. If your site administrator has uploaded reference points to help search near, you can also choose a reference point from the Reference Points drop-down menu.
- For the Address choice, additional fields appear for you to enter the address.If your site administrator has uploaded reference points to help search near, you can also choose a reference point from the Reference Points drop-down menu.
- If your site administrator has uploaded reference points to help search near, you can also choose a City and enter a city, and then choose a reference point from the Reference Points drop-down menu.
- Choose the number of guests from the Number of guests drop-down menu.
Tip: Note this is the number of guests expected to stay in one hotel room, not the number of rooms to reserve. - (Optional) If you don't want to match your hotel search with your flight dates, click to uncheck the "Match my Hotel search with my flight dates" option (the default is checked).
- After unchecking this option, the Check-in and Check-out fields appear.
- Click the calendar icons next to the Check-in and Check-out fields, and click on dates (or enter the dates into the fields).
- Choose the number of miles to search within using the Search Within drop-down menu.
- Click the Search button at the bottom of the page if all you need is a hotel for a one way or round trip; otherwise, proceed with Searching for a Rental Car. For a multi-city trip, start searching for a hotel in the next trip segment below the current one.
