Searching for a Car Rental

The Car Rental section for the trip, or for a trip segment in a multi-city trip, should already have a check mark and be expanded for use. If not, see Starting Your Travel Search.

By default, your car rental search will match pickup and drop-off locations, dates, and times to your flight times and destination based on what you have already entered in the Flight section for the trip (or trip segment of a multi-city trip). If you don't want to match your flight times and destination, follow these steps:

1. Click to uncheck the "Match my Car Rental search with my flight dates" option in the Car Rental section. Additional fields appear for the car rental pickup and drop-off locations, dates, and times.
2. Click the Airport or Address radio buttons to request a pickup or drop-off location close to the airport or address (the default is Airport). 
   • For the Airport choice, enter the airport in the field under the choices. If you already entered information for searching for flights, this field is already filled in for you.
   • For the Address choice, additional fields appear for you to enter the address.
   • Click the calendar icons next to the Date fields for the Pick-up and Drop-off Locations, and click on dates (or enter the dates into the fields).
   • Choose the times for the Pick-up and Drop-off Locations from the Time drop-down menu.
3. Click the Search button at the bottom of the page if all you need is a car rental for a one way or round trip; otherwise, proceed with booking the rest of your trip (see Booking a Trip). For a multi-city trip, start searching for a car rental in the next trip segment below the current one.
