Flexible Fares

Flex fares, also known as flexi flights or open tickets, allow passengers to change or cancel their flights after purchase for a fee or no fee at all. Flex fares are a good option for people whose plans change frequently, even at the last minute.

Flexible Fares now display on the page.  They display the different fare options for each flight.  (when available)

To see the different flexible fares, click on the tabs StandardRefundable and Unrestricted.

These tabs show the price and provide information about the ticket.  For example:  Seat choice options, baggage included, refundable, etc...

Branded Fares

Branded fares are a way for airlines to bundle airfare with additional features and options, such as baggage, a pre-reserved seat, or meal. Airlines can use branded fares to build brand recognition, manage customer expectations, and create upsell opportunities.

The branded fares also display on the page.  They display the airline names for each flight (when available).

    • For example:  Southwest has "Anytime" and  "Web-only Wanna Get Away" flights.
